Get a Trǫll-Bachelor of the Norse Mythology, and get to know Óðin, Þórr, Freyja, Mjölnír, Nisser, Álfar, Trǫlls, Yggdrasil and all the other things and beings that you don’t usually see.

So what do we learn?
- You learn everything about the Norse mythology.
- You learn to pronounce the difficult Norse sounds, moving your tongue in four dimensions (and say things like “rødgrød med fløde” and “Eyjafjallajökull”).
- You learn to write in Runes (Fuþark): ᛁᚬᚢ:ᛚᛁᛅᚱᚾ:ᛏᚬ:ᚢᚱᛁᛏᛁ:ᛁᚾ:ᚱᚢᚾᛁᛋ
- You learn about Jól, and how it has shaped modern Christmas celebrations
- You learn how to get the Æsir, Vanir and Huldufólk on your side.
- You learn the ethics of the Vikings, and why Norse people think the way they do today.
- You learn how Norse sagas have turned into “Der Ring des Nibelungen”, “Peter Pan” and “The Lord of the Rings”.
Is there a test?
Yes, we can’t just let anybody hold a Trǫll-Bachelor. As the most uncorruptable people in the world, we will make sure you actually payed attention, and didn’t just purchase a degree.
But if you pay attention, the Ásynja Freyja will help you pass.

How long does it take?
The entire education takes five hours,
including pauses and meals.
How much is the course?
Including lectures, lunch, pancakes, coffee/tea, framed diploma and study book the price is DKK 750.
For children up to18 y/o the price is DKK 550 (minimum age 12 y/o, smaller meal).
For students DKK 600 (20% discount, you have to provide a valid student ID).
Couple discount: Two persons DKK 1250 (you only get one book to share)
There are no extra costs.

Obviously you can. Get in touch and we will give you a quote, and organise the time and place.
Who is the Álfar Professor?
Vikingologist and Storyteller Hasse “Hassan” Sørensen is born next to an Iron Age grave mount, by parents obsessed with Norse history. He has published 14 books on history, some of them in English.
FAQ
Why not children under 12?
It requires some prior knowledge to benefit, which is why we can’t teach children under 12 years of age.
What if I have food allergies?
Please let us know in advance and we will take care of it.
I am a religious person; will this offend my faith?
Absolutely! Yes it will. No ᚠᚢᚴᛁᚾᚴ doubt about it.
Is the course in English?
Yes, only in English, though you are going to learn a number of Norse words (in Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and Icelandic).
Can we have a private course in other languages?
Yes, for private courses you can choose between English, Danish or Swedish.
Wait… What? Weren’t the Vikings vicious and bloodthirsty psychopath killers, raiders and slave traders???
Yes, in the Viking Age some of them were, but so was everybody else. Here we will focus on what made them stand out.
Today we are quite peaceful, and always at the top ten of the most happy and nice people in the world.
